BACKGROUND
Trude Johnson's career over the past 30 years has included various roles within the Nevada Workers' Compensation (WC) Industry to include:
Hotel/Casino WC Case Manager, Vocational Rehabilitation Case Manager/Counselor, and manager/owner of vocational rehab firm EVR-with State Industrial Insurance System (SIIS) being the primary account.
While working with Coventry WCS, she was the Nevada Workers' Comp Account Manager for almost 10 years, representing Nurse Case Management & Voc Rehab throughout the State of Nevada to Insurers & Third Party Administrators. Coventry's other Managed Care products and services represented also included DME, Nurse Triage and Discharge Planning.
At Encompass Health (formerly HealthSouth), she represented Post-Acute Rehab to the WC Community for 3 years. During 2022 Trude saw an opportunity to become an independent Workers' Comp Liaison and launched TBJ Consulting, LLC. She has been super successful because this is her "WHEELHOUSE", utilizing so many of her skills, talents, background and passion in her chosen field.

Trude received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, Psychology, and Religious Studies from the University of Colorado-Boulder. She is a graduate of the University of Nevada's Paralegal Certificate Program in Las Vegas, Nevada, and a Certified Professional in Disability Management (CPDM). In addition to professional affiliations, participation, and volunteerism on numerous event committees and educational events, such as those hosted by the Nevada Disability Prevention Coalition, (NDPC), the Nevada Self-Insured Association, (NSIA), the Risk Management Society Nevada Chapter, (RIMS), Southern Nevada Claims Association, (SNCA), the Las Vegas Insurance Professionals - Women in Insurance Professionals, (LVIP), as well as attendance of numerous seminars on workers' compensation, disability and medical issues, this has all contributed to a special skill set and understanding of what it takes to be successful and a true professional in her chosen profession.
